Total programme duration is 4 Years (ND + HND). Students also complete a 1-Year Industrial Training (IT) placement between the ND and HND stages, which is not counted toward the published programme duration. Applicants without JAMB may apply for the Pre-ND foundation programme, which prepares you to join the ND stage.

Overview

Trained to Respond, Ready to Save Lives

The Paramedics programme trains students in pre-hospital emergency care, ambulance operations and trauma response. Simulation-based training and ambulance service attachments prepare graduates to manage emergencies calmly under pressure.

Graduates are equipped to work alongside hospitals, fire and rescue services, and private ambulance operators, delivering critical first response care.

Entry Requirements

  • WAEC/NECO with credits in English, Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry
  • JAMB UTME is required, with a minimum score of 100 - applicants without JAMB may apply for the Pre-ND programme
  • Minimum age of 16 years at time of admission
  • Pass an entrance examination and oral interview
